Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Dragon Auto to you. By signing a job approval through our scheduling and booking platform, scheduling a service with us, or allowing us to work on your vehicle, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before authorizing any service.

Agreement to Terms
Your digital signature on the job approval in our booking system constitutes your agreement to both these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, available at dragonauto.net/privacy-policy. These documents together form the complete agreement between you and Dragon Auto regarding the services described in your job order.
Services
Dragon Auto provides automotive surface protection and enhancement services, including ceramic coating, paint protection film (PPF) installation, paint correction, auto detailing, and related automotive services. The specific services to be performed are described in your job order at the time of booking or check-in. Dragon Auto reserves the right to modify the scope of services if conditions discovered during the work make the originally quoted scope impractical or inadvisable. We will notify you of any material change before proceeding.
Estimates and Scheduling
All price quotes and time estimates provided before work begins are estimates only, not guarantees. Final pricing and turnaround time may vary based on the actual condition of your vehicle, complexity of the work required, and factors discovered during the service. We will contact you if the final cost is expected to exceed your original estimate by a material amount before completing additional work.
Vehicle Condition and Pre-Existing Damage
Dragon Auto is not responsible for any pre-existing damage, defects, or conditions present on your vehicle before work begins. This includes but is not limited to scratches, swirl marks, paint chips, rock chips, rust, corrosion, fading, peeling clear coat, water damage, dents, cracked or damaged trim, broken clips or fasteners, brittle rubber seals, and any mechanical or electrical issues.
Before any work begins, a Dragon Auto team member will conduct a walk-around inspection of your vehicle and document its condition with photographs. You are encouraged to be present for this inspection. By authorizing the job, you acknowledge and accept the vehicle's pre-existing condition as documented.
Dragon Auto takes care in handling every vehicle. However, the discovery or exposure of pre-existing damage during the service process is not caused by Dragon Auto and does not create liability on our part.
Surface Suitability and Performance Expectations
Ceramic coatings, PPF, and paint correction services are highly dependent on the underlying condition of your vehicle's paint and surfaces. Dragon Auto makes no guarantee of results on surfaces that are compromised, degraded, poorly repainted, or otherwise unsuitable for the intended application.
Paint correction removes material from your clear coat. On vehicles with thin, damaged, or repainted surfaces, the amount of correction that can safely be performed may be limited. Dragon Auto cannot guarantee product performance if the underlying paint is compromised or if post-service care instructions are not followed.
Vehicle Authorization
By authorizing work, you grant Dragon Auto permission to drive, move, reposition, and operate your vehicle within our facility as reasonably necessary to complete the service. Dragon Auto will exercise reasonable care in handling your vehicle.
Your vehicle will be kept on our premises during the service period. Dragon Auto is not responsible for loss or damage caused by events outside our control, including theft, vandalism, weather events, or natural disasters, while your vehicle is in our care.
Photography and Media Release
Dragon Auto photographs and videos every vehicle we service for vehicle condition documentation, quality control, portfolio, social media, and marketing. By authorizing service, you grant Dragon Auto a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use photographs and video of your vehicle for these purposes. We will not display your personal information or license plates in final published content without your separate consent.
If you do not wish for your vehicle to be used in marketing or social media, you must notify us in writing before work begins.
Payment Terms
Payment is due in full before your vehicle is released. Dragon Auto accepts cash, debit or credit card, Affirm, Afterpay, and Zelle. Your vehicle will not be returned to you until your remaining balance has been paid in full.
Deposits
A security deposit of 50% of the total quoted service amount is required to confirm your appointment. Your deposit invoice will remain active for 48 hours from the time it is sent. Deposits are applied in full toward your remaining balance at the time of service.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least 72 hours before your scheduled appointment. If you cancel within 72 hours, the deposit is credited in full toward a future rescheduled service. No-shows without prior notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit. To cancel or reschedule, contact us at noah@dragonauto.net or (408) 638-6429.
Service Timeframes
Estimated completion times are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed. Dragon Auto is not liable for any costs or inconveniences resulting from service taking longer than estimated, including rental car costs or missed appointments.
Post-Service Care Instructions
Certain services, particularly ceramic coatings, require specific care during the curing period. Dragon Auto will provide written post-service care instructions at pickup. Dragon Auto is not responsible for coating or film failure caused by failure to follow these instructions.
Warranty
Dragon Auto's warranty coverage has two components: the manufacturer product warranty and Dragon Auto's own workmanship guarantee. As examples: Icon Rocklear ceramic coating carries a 15-year manufacturer warranty and PeelClear PPF carries a 20-year manufacturer warranty against product failure.
Dragon Auto's 30-day workmanship guarantee covers the quality of our installation. If you are not satisfied within 30 days of pickup, we will redo the work or issue a refund. External damage after service is not covered unless you purchased extended warranty coverage at the time of service.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Dragon Auto's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Dragon Auto is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits Dragon Auto's liability for damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dragon Auto, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misrepresentation of your vehicle's condition, or failure to follow post-service care instructions.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, please contact us directly first. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within 30 days of written notice, both parties agree to binding arbitration administered by JAMS in Santa Clara County, California, under JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding. You agree that any dispute will be brought solely in your individual capacity.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Changes to These Terms
Dragon Auto reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted to dragonauto.net/terms with a revised Effective Date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
